Tensions have been high in Guinea for quite some time now. On Monday, students of a public school took to the streets to demand for the resumption of studies and on Tuesday, the opposition staged protests in the capital Conakry over the disputed February local elections. An opposition leader also claims that he was being targeted after his car was shot at during the banned rally.
